Gregg GOP Opens New Headquarters, Website

Newsboy holding up newspaper cries out: Extra! Extra! Click All About It!LONGVIEW, TX — The Gregg County Republican Party launched the 2008 campaign season by opening a new headquarters and website. The headquarters is located at 220 N. Fredonia Street in Longview, across from the Gregg County Courthouse. The office will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

County Chair Keith Rothra stated that the office offers campaign literature, bumper stickers, and other information. Due to high demand, they are running low on yard signs, but Rothra sees this optimistically. “Requests for John McCain and John Cornyn signs are flooding into the new headquarters,” Rothra said. “We’re working to obtain more to meet the demand.”

Along with a new headquarters, Rothra announced that the party launched its new website. The address is www.GreggCountyGOP.com. Rothra describes the site as a “vehicle for providing information about the Gregg County Republican Party” including the various clubs, party events, candidate information, and more. Rothra also stated, “we intend to develop an online monthly newsletter as well.”
