Sample GOP Primary Ballot Available
You can now download a sample ballot for the 2010 Gregg Co. GOP primary. In the navigation bar above, go to
Voting & Elections > Sample Ballot
It will open in a PDF file. Feel free to view it, print it, and use it to help decide who you wish to vote for and which propositions you support or oppose. Remember, though, it is just an unofficial sample.

I cannot open the sample ballot. When I mouse over the Voting & Elections Sample Ballot nothing happens. I am bringing this to your attention just in case the problem is with your website so you can correct it.
Thank you.

Cindy,
Just to be sure, I tested it tonight in Firefox and Internet Explorer. When I clicked “Sample Ballot” it opened fine in both. The document is a PDF file, so Adobe Acrobat (or other PDF reader) will be needed. Acrobat Reader can be downloaded for free at http://www.adobe.com.

There is no clickable link on this page to open the .pdf file (and, yes, I have Acrobat Reader 9): http://www.greggcountygop.com/2010/02/18/sample-gop-primary-ballot-available/
Where is the link on the page to open the Sample Ballot?
Thanks!

As the post states, to get to the sample ballot, in the navigation bar located at the top, go to:
Voting & Elections > Sample Ballot
Click “Sample Ballot” and the PDF document will open.

I can’t open the sample ballot either. There must be an easier way to get this out to the voters!

We have tried to make the sample ballot as simple as possible. If you will go to the brown bar at the top of the web site you will see “VOTING AND ELECTIONS.” When you place your cursor on that, it will scroll out three choices for you; the last one is “SAMPLE BALLOT.” Place your cursor on that and click and you should have the copy of the sample ballot appear on your screen.
I have tried this several times …. on my home computer … on my laptop … at the GOP headquarters computer. It has always worked. I am confused as to why it would not work for you. I am sorry. We have tried the best solution we knew of.

Thank you for making this info available to us. The sample ballot printed just fine for me on the first try. Thanks!
