Republicans in Gregg County set a new record for total votes cast in a primary. The previous record of just over 11,300 was set in 2008, a presidential election year. According to the the Secretary of State there were 11,439 votes cast in the 2010 GOP primary in Gregg County!

While vote totals are traditionally lower in a presidential “off year,” Gregg Republicans set their all-time primary vote record today. One might say that it may be an “off year” for the president, but it is an “on fire year” for the GOP in Gregg County.

This is evidence that Republicans in Gregg County are more active and more participatory than ever before. It also shows that the party is growing and can continue to grow in the future.

Your support–in both time and money–are greatly appreciated! You are the reason for this success.

I worked the polls on Election day and I have to say I thought more people would vote. Word needs to be spread that people need to get more active in the voting process, otherwise you end up with elected officers that should not have been elected.

As I waited in line to vote in a primary, I realized how activated Republicans are. Everyone who came in to vote requested the GOP ballot. This is the year to unseat neo-conservatives and replace them with the real thing.
