The site had trouble loading this morning starting at 7 AM. The problem was noticed by multiple people and I was made aware of it at 11:30 AM. The problem was found and fixed.
The cause: the countdown timer expired at 7 AM, since it was counting down to the polls opening today. However, the instructions saying what to display starting at 7:00 were either not entered or entered incorrectly (in code, missing even a comma or one letter can break it all).
The solution: the countdown timer was taken down.
I offer my deepest apologies for this. Thank you to all those who let us know the site was not working properly. Your notice allowed us to fix the problem quickly.
