A Word from Our Chairman

With the primary elections over, we might tend to settle back and rest for a few months. PLEASE don’t even THINK in those terms!

The November election does not start in November, but right NOW. Candidates for Governor are already advertising on the TV. The other candidates are beginning to emerge as well.

The Democratic National Committee has targeted Texas for this November. They think that they can make inroads into this solidly Republican state. Unless we take firm action now, they just might succeed in that effort.

Bill White (Democrat) is touting his tax-rate cutting record. He doesn’t mention the increased property appraisals that outstripped the rate cuts. Taxes are higher in Houston than they were before this Democrat came to office.

Republican candidate Rick Perry opposes Washington buy-outs and funding with strings attached. The Democrat, White, favors the Obama/Pelosi programs and seeks federal money for Texas.

Most Gregg County candidates are unopposed in November, but the state campaigns will be challenging and. Powerful. Several State House elections will be critical to maintaining a GOP majority for the redistricting following the census. Gregg County can help the adjoining counties to elect a solid GOP ticket.

As I said last month, if you are not involved yet . . . it is time! Come visit us in the office at 220 N. Fredonia and let’s talk straight Texas sense. Our work is set before us.

Keith

Dr. Keith A. Rothra, Chairman

    Dear Chairman Keith,
You are very accurate in your comments on the November election. I would like to draw your specific attention to the Texas Secretary of State position. Why? Because state secretaries are a nation wide target of George Soros plan to take control of the voting/counting process in November. He is deploying a long list of tools and tactics in this plan. Conservatives will not win control unless we root out these tool and combat them now. We need to begin at the State level.

    Sincerely

    Mike
