Ever try to figure out exactly how the BCS (Bowl Championship Series) computers decide who ranks where? It’s a long algorithm (fancy word for “math problem”) designed to incorporate a variety of factors, including surveys, win/loss records, points scored, strength of opponents, “style” points (meaning, how much a team wins by), and a lot of other stuff. It takes all these highly subjective easily quantifiable factors, does some fancy math, and spits out the results. Too complicated? Well, you can always get a simple answer from the BCS themselves. And don’t worry, it’s only a very short six page explanation.
Nancy Pelosi said that we had to pass Obamacare to see what was in it. As people are pouring through this 2,801 page bill finding more and more appalling nuggets, I want to assure you that it’s not really as bad as those details make it seem. It’s like the BCS: once you see how it works, you’ll get a better picture.
Remember the first flow chart showing the proposed bill? A study by the Senate’s Joint Economic Committee minority has found that the actual law is nothing like that convoluted mess. Yes, folks, Obamacare is not that tangled web of bureaucracy and government intervention illustrated in that map. The actual Obamacare is, well, look for yourselves:
So, what do you think? Do you think even the BCS computers could figure it out Obamacare? Check out what a few others have said about our new health care system:
